Biography

Geoff White first learnt his photography at secondry school, "The darkroom was the only place we could safely go and smoke". Since then he has given up smoking and learn a little more about his craft.

He has worked as a photographer in Ireland and the UK, particularly in the areas of architectural and landscape photography, the arts, particularly dance and theatre, and fine art. He has exhibited in Ireland, the UK and Europe. His photographic interests are mainly centered on constructed and synthesised photographic imagery.

He is a member of the Dublin Institute of Technology staff where he lectures in photography and digital imaging. He is a graduate in Photography (DIT/1981) and holds a Masters in Film Studies (NUI/1993).
